Experiences from Bangkok organisations
Thanachai Kasikorn
General Manager, Food & Beverage group, Bangkok
We brought Saraya in because two of our restaurant managers had flagged that something felt off with the kitchen team but nobody could put their finger on what it was. The listening session surfaced three specific things — none of them dramatic, but all of them real. The written summary was useful in a way I had not expected: it gave us something concrete to talk about without pointing fingers at anyone.

Nisa Prateep
HR Director, professional services firm, Silom
We have run staff satisfaction surveys for years and they always say roughly the same thing. The Engagement Improvement project with Saraya felt different because it involved actual conversations — not checkboxes. A few things that came up in sessions were things I would never have found in a survey. The check-in plan they left us with has been genuinely useful; we are still working through it eight months later.

Wanchai Siriphong
Managing Director, logistics company, Lat Krabang
I was sceptical at first — I thought this kind of advisory was for larger companies or for teams with serious problems. We are eighty people and things were fine. But the ongoing advisory relationship has given me a place to think through people decisions before I make them, with someone who is not inside the organisation. That outside perspective has been worth more than I expected.

Pacharee Jaidee
Founder, boutique design agency, Ari
We are only fourteen people but the session brought out things I had not heard in any one-to-one conversation with the team. I think people found it easier to say certain things in a facilitated group than directly to me as the founder. Saraya was careful about not attributing specific comments to individuals, which meant everyone felt comfortable. The suggestions list was shorter than I expected — only five things — but all five were actionable.

Somsak Khamthai
Operations Head, manufacturing company, Phra Nakhon
The team had been through some management changes and the atmosphere had shifted — harder to describe than a specific problem, more like something had gone quiet. The Engagement Improvement project ran over about ten weeks and we finished with a clear set of steps that the new management team actually committed to. Saraya were good at keeping things practical and not letting sessions drift into conversation without a purpose.

Linda Lertprasit
CEO, education services provider, Chatuchak
I have been working with Saraya on an ongoing basis for just over a year. What I appreciate most is that the sessions are consistent — same format, same practitioner, enough time between them to have something to report back. The written notes after each session have been useful for tracking what has actually changed versus what we thought would change. Not everything has worked out, but having a record of what we tried has been valuable.

Detailed Accounts
Two engagements in more depth
Retail company, Yaowarat district — Engagement Improvement
Timeline: 8 weeks · 3 facilitated sessions
The challenge
The company had grown from twelve to thirty-five staff over two years. Communication between the original founding team and newer hires had become fragmented — newer staff felt unclear about decisions, and the founders felt their direction was not being followed through. Two staff had resigned within three months citing a lack of direction.
What we did
Three sessions over eight weeks. The first brought the full team together to surface themes. The second worked separately with the founding team and a small group of newer hires to identify where the gap was widest. The third brought both groups back to agree three specific changes to how decisions were communicated and acknowledged.
The outcome
Three communication changes agreed and documented. A simple weekly update format adopted by the founding team. One departure was reversed — the staff member chose to stay after the process concluded. The check-in plan ran for four months; the company reports using two of the three changes as standard practice.
"I had not realised how much the newer people wanted to hear the reasoning behind decisions, not just the decision itself."
Healthcare administration office, Bangrak — Culture Listening Session
Timeline: Half-day session · Written output within 4 days
The challenge
A ten-person administrative team supporting a private clinic had come through a difficult twelve months — system changes, one manager departure, and a significant increase in workload. The new manager wanted to understand the team's current state before making any further changes, and felt that asking directly might not get honest answers.
What we did
A half-day facilitated listening session with the full administrative team, held off-site at a meeting space in Silom. The manager was not present. Participants spoke in both English and Thai — notes were taken in both languages. Four themes emerged across the group; two were practical, one was relational, and one was about workload.
The outcome
A four-page themes summary and a six-point suggestions list delivered to the manager. She shared three of the six suggestions with the team directly, which the team confirmed were accurate. Two quick changes were made in the following month; the third is under discussion with clinic leadership. No further departures in the six months following.
"The written summary gave me something to act on that I could not have produced from memory after a meeting."
